2008 FINALISTS

Inspired by Japanese origami and woven textiles, the ‘Woven Structure’ seems to defy gravity. Made of strips of European beech veneer which weave in and out in a rounded cube shape, this sculptural object can be used as a stool, foot stool or, with the addition of a small glass top, a side table.
