Artisan develops and presents Australian and International exhibitions of high calibre and is active in building business and creative skills for designers. Artisan is proud to support designers develop sustainable careers through professional seminars and tailored mentoring programs. The organisation provides a retail outlet through the designer store (m)art including a Corporate Gift Catalogue and individual commissions.
Artisan is the trading name for Craft Queensland, a not-for profit company limited by guarantee. Funded by both the Queensland Government through Arts Queensland, and the Federal Government through the Australia Council, artisan builds careers and develops audiences enabling a self-sustaining and strong creative sector.
