Launch Pad is focused on facilitating relationships within the design community, and Angels in Design are a key factor in achieving this. The Launch Pad events program depends heavily upon the groups that lend their support to emerging designers, thereby becoming part of Australia’s design future.

Living Edge is delighted to be working with Indesign to support Launch Pad 2009. As a wholly owned Australian company Living Edge supplies premium local and international furniture nationwide. In 2008 we opened our first showroom in the USA to promote our Australian design products giving them and the entire Australian design industry a voice on the world stage.
Authenticity in design, preservation of the environment and a desire to foster a sense of community among the design industry are central to the Living Edge philosophy. We are also committed to the emerging design industry within Australia and support a number of student and new design programmes nationwide each year. Through Launch Pad we are able to continue in our quest to assist in the development of emerging designers by aiding their profile and offering advice, support and recognition of their talent.

2008 Angels in Design
Launch Pad 2008 had the much valued support of Major Sponsors Living Edge and Woven Image.
Other Angels Indesign for 2008 included bangdesign who specially designed the exhibition for the Launch Pad finalists, Source One assisting with transport and logistics, venue partners Melbourne Museum and artisan and media partners Vogue Living and map magazine.

2007 Angels in Design
In 2007, Angels included InterfaceFLOR, Living Edge, Object and Source One while in 2006 the Angels were Bang and Olufsen, Gregory Australia, Jenline Interiors, Living Edge, Melbourne Museum, Rice Daubney and Rim Fabrics.
